rolling very slowly to a standstill
In a slump; depression has me almost catatonic.
What images come to mind?
Langorousness - but in reality, it was nothing like that.
I'm struggling with writer's block. Probably not failure but certainly a lack of success, which may lead to failure of my spirit to thrive.
Survive, survive
and see what tomorrow brings.

I say, Ruth, you do sound glum. And why the picture of Venice? The Liffey in the rain would be more appropriate to your mood.
Things could be worse, you know. Imagine you were married to David Cameron, worked for Alan Sugar, and that Mark Thatcher was your son.
